​Latinitas is the year-long point system for Latin Club. Each event has a designated point value, both for participation and achievement in that event. Students can earn many various awards through this system. The Latinitas system promotes dedication in the Junior Classical League and fosters a healthy amount of competition among the most dedicated of club members.

​Each event has a designated point value. At most events, it will be necessary to sign in with the Secretary to ensure that your attendance at that event has been noted. Points shown on the spreadsheet on the page reflect the most current values. 

The end of year awards are presented at the annual Latin Club Awards Ceremony in May. Each member who earns 100 points or more throughout the course of the year earns a Varsity Letter or Bar in Latin. The top 5 for each level of Latin receive a certificate, the top 3 per level have their names engraved on a plaque in the Latin room, and the highest overall point earner has his/her name engraved on the Latinitas trophy.
